Bramble clearance at East Hills Wood – All Welcome

On 24th and 25th November, the Friends of the Tud Valley (FOTV) will be joining forces with South Norfolk District Council and the Norwich Fringe Project to begin some much-needed bramble-clearance work in East Hills Wood in Costessey, the primary aim of this work being to re-expose the beautiful bluebell glades that are endangered by encroaching brambles.  The working parties will be running from 10.00 till 15.30, and we shall meet at 10.00 in the car park on Longwater Lane (opposite Pym’s the estate agent).  All are welcome, even if only for an hour or two.  Come and “get physical” and hopefully make some new friends! The Friends of the Tud Valley have submitted the following objection to South Norfolk Council with regards to application: 2016/2430 – Outline application with access and Landscaping (all other matters reserved) for 83 dwellings (including 27 affordable dwellings) with areas of public open space, sustainable drainage systems and associated infrastructure.
